A civil engineer is engaged in many activities starting from the selection of the site to the final construction. Some of the key roles and responsibilities of a civil engineer are as follows:

• Undertake necessary steps and initiatives for risk management.

• Put across the site and construction proposal to the specified officials and supervise the tendering process.

• Ensure that the said rules, regulations, and guidelines are followed.

• Check for safety measures while the project is undergoing.

• Analyze and examine different equations, strategies, and applications to ensure appropriate procedure application.

• Ensure working of all tools and techniques like the chemical testing procedure, drafting software, land surveying technique, and electrical test devices.
